Organizational Structure

Mothertongue is comprised of three major committees:

The Board of Instigators (BOI) provides general oversight of the organization, manages finances and communications, supports the committees, works with the beneficiaries, and furthers the work of mothertongue in the community.

The Events Committee produces the monthly shows (including special showcases and other events), special events, and mothertongue*east.

The Workshops Committee conducts and coordinates workshops, including writing, performing and beneficiary workshops (one-day or series).
